David Cullen Architect is an established firm based in Waterford, who provides architectural designs to the residential, commercial, and public service sectors.
We were asked to design and build a minimalist website design to showcase the company’s architectural design work and services. The website needed to be responsive to various mobile devices and look good on large screens too. It also needed to work well with the company’s existing brand identity. The new website needed to enable the company to update projects themselves.
The company’s brand identity was already provided, therefore the colours used in the website design reflect the three primary colours of the identity. To complement the existing identity, they were set against simple black and white so as not to compete nor clash.
Architectural images need to be large with plenty of white space to allow the overall design space to breathe. The images were placed front and center in the designed layouts. An image gallery for each project showcases the architectural images.
The website was designed and built using WordPress Content Management System, this gave the company the ability to update it themselves.
The website is optimized for Search Engines, specifically for ‘Architect Waterford’ and ‘Building Surveyor Waterford’ – for these search terms the company is found on page one in Google search results.
